About Lawve AI
Our mission
Lawve AI exists to make AI accessible and practical for legal professionals. General-purpose agents are capable, but they do not inherently know a legal team's methods, trusted sources, or quality standards. We help domain experts turn that knowledge into reusable tools that others can inspect, share, and improve, without needing to become prompt engineers.
What we do
We operate a curated hub of complementary agent tools for legal work. Skills package expert instructions, references, templates, and repeatable procedures. Connectors give agents controlled access to external tools and data, while plugins bundle related capabilities into installable packages. These portable building blocks work with agents such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini, and public community submissions are reviewed before publication.
Who we serve
Lawve AI serves legal professionals across organizations, practice areas, and levels of technical experience: solo practitioners, law firms, in-house teams, paralegals, compliance professionals, legal operations teams, and technologists building advanced workflows. The goal is the same in every case: make reliable legal expertise easier to apply consistently with AI.
Open and community-driven
Lawve is built around portable files and open standards rather than a proprietary agent format. Skills can be versioned in Git, stored in a shared drive, adapted to a team's practice, or zipped and shared. Authors choose the license for their work, so open-source and proprietary resources can coexist with clear terms.
The hub grows through contributions from practicing lawyers, in-house counsel, academics, and legal technologists. By sharing their methods, contributors turn isolated experiments into resources that the wider community can build upon.
